Due to scams on cashier's checks and money orders we are not able to accept those, we will accept personal checks but the horse is held till the check clears. SALES POLICY: All horses, are sold with a current negative coggins and we provide health papers to out of state buyers. Payment is due 2 weeks prior to pickup unless paying in CASH, if paying in CASH at pickup a deposit of $500.00 or 25% of the advertised price, whichever is greater, is required to hold horse until pickup. It can sometimes take up to 2 weeks to get the coggins paperwork back. Pre-purchase and/or breeding soundness exams are welcomed at buyer's expense. We will consider offers from repeat buyers or prospective show homes. Sales Contract SALES POLICY PREGNANT MARES: Pregnant mares are sold as exposed only, so we cannot guarantee mares in foal or provide live foal guarantees, pregnant mares are priced at open price. Buyers may have exposed mare pregnancy checked at buyers expense (farm call plus ultrasound) SALES POLICY FOALS: ** Foals are listed at pre-weaning price. If foal is not reserved at weaning time, we will revaluate the foal and reassign a price based on quality of the foal at that time. We usually wean our foals between 4 and 6 months. To reserve a foal, a deposit of $500.00 or 25% of the advertised price, whichever is greater, is required. Once the deposit is received the foal is considered reserved. The deposit is nonrefundable. Balance is due 2 weeks prior to pick up unless buyer is paying in cash and picking up foal in person. We may accept payments on foals until weaning, contact me to discuss this if you are interested. Foals are weaned between 4 & 6 months but maybe weaned prior to 4 months at buyers request. Foals will be vaccinated at 6 months, foals picked up prior to 6 months will not be vaccinated except at buyers request and expense. Foals are wormed every 6-8 weeks with ivermectin or safe-guard. Pre-purchase exams are welcomed at buyer's expense (costs will include farm call plus exam). Seller will provide coggins and will provide health papers to out of state buyers. We will consider offers from repeat buyers or prospective show homes. Foals that are currently stallions but sold as geldings will sell with gelding amendment in the sales contract. APHA & AQHA REGISTERED STOCK: (1) "Seller's Responsibility: The seller must provide on the transfer report the correct name and registration number of the horse, date of sale, name and address of buyer, and signature and address of seller. The seller shall immediately deliver the transfer form, along with the registration certificate, to the buyer, along with any other documents required to complete the transfer of ownership. Buyer is responsible for having a current APHA or AQHA number or paying the difference between the member transfer rate and the nonmember transfer rate. Current Transfer fee is $???? or $??? for a nonmember. Membership fee for a 12 month period is $???.
